The Wiki's been getting a bit of traffic lately, so I feel it's time to update the staff roster once again. I've been thinking about this for a while and wanted to give some guys a little bit more, "recognition", per se.

As with the original staff stuff Forum post, I am releasing a list of users who will receive a given user "right". Now, it's time for me to do it.

We have three new administrators and one new Content Moderator; I will continue hand-picking people to join the team in time.

Administrators

• AugFC (Content Moderator -> Administrator)
• JustAlex93 (Content Moderator -> Administrator)
• Wuzh (Content Moderator -> Administrator)

The aforementioned users will have emboldened names to indicate that they are administrators.

Content Moderators

• Nanomat (Discussions Moderator -> Content Moderator + Discussion Moderator)

The aforementioned users will have italicized names to indicate that they are content moderators. Nanomat will also remain a discussion moderator as well; however, the content moderator role will take priority (even in FANDOM's inner workings).

These roles are somewhat "adaptable", so if the above users feel they are not suited for a particular role, or if there is any opposition to said role, I can switch them over to something else. As for the aforementioned users, congratulations on getting the promo.

Before you ask, all users will be treated equally. If you still have opinions or objections, please voice them out here; I would love to hear them.

As I mentioned a while ago, discussions are now live. These will be used to supplement the original Wiki-style forums and not replace them.

I feel that using this feature appears to be a slightly better way to reach out to the community, especially for those who do not have any intentions on joining the Discord server.

If you have opinions on the new discussions feature, feel free to leave them down below. I value your feedback; however, any non-constructive criticism or spam comments will be deleted. Keep it clean!

I've replaced the "Image request" article on the Wiki with one which displays "Articles needing work"; this was mainly because I felt that there was literally not much use for the image request article.

This article is an experiment; as not everyone is on the Discord, not everyone will have access to that list I have pinned in one of the channels there, so I added it onto the Wiki. What it allows me to do is to keep track of what articles should be fixed up and who will fix up those articles; if this article does not see much use, I will most likely delete it or repurpose it.

Leave any opinions about the article in this thread here; I would love to hear them.

For a while now, I've been intending to start a bot to ease the workload that some content moderators have done here. Now, it feels that it might be the right time to do so.

The bot will be named Entangled Energy and will be controlled by me; it will mainly be used to move categories and relocate them although I can get it to do other things as well.

The real question is: do you support the addition of a bot on the Wiki or not? Do leave your opinions and comments below; I would love to hear them.

Pertaining to the discussion about Discord made a little earlier, I have decided to start the Wiki's Discord. The Discord server is used as an additional means of communication between users of this Wiki, and anyone who uses this Wiki (as an editor, reader or the like) is free to join.

Participation in the Discord is optional, although encouraged. The Discord is intended as a venue for the Gun Wiki community to socialize and discuss. Do also note that the wiki and Discord will be considered separate but related entities; conflicts that arise between users on either platform should remain on that platform. Any other rules and information will be detailed in the Discord server itself.

As an additional note, the Discord server may replace the Live Chat feature in the near future, provided it does grow. Any feedback or suggestions for the Discord can also be left here.

A couple days ago, someone mentioned about Discord on this wiki with relation to chatting, notifications and other similar stuff.

In fact, I've been thinking about this for a while, and I'm wondering if a Discord server should be implemented as part of a means of communication here in addition to the Forums and Live Chat. (even though I think it may not be as conducive for a small-ish wiki like this one)

Any constructive input is welcome. If you support the implementation, go ahead. Voice it out. If you don't, voice it out as well. If I feel that the discussion has gone on for enough time, I'll close the thread and go about implementing it if users do want it; if users don't, I'm open to similar suggestions. If Discord does get implemented, participation is optional.

Over the last few months, I noticed that the staff on this Wiki has been notably short-handed; it's just me and Smoke. running the show most of the time. In addition, there have been recent cases of lots of comment spam and even massive vandalism.

I intend to make a few users on this Wiki content moderators or discussion moderators to assist in busting up and clearing out these edits. I may also grant users who I deem trustworthy the rollback moderator privilege as well.

I will release a list of who are the new content and discussion moderators in time to come. Please voice out any opinions or concerns here if you have any; I would love to hear them.

I have launched a new partnership with the German Gun Wiki on their administrator's request. As this wiki has done so with the Polish Gun Wiki in the past, I think it feels good to expand upon this rather tiny "community" a little.

Any objections to this can be voiced out here.

I decided to do what was not done for over 3 years; revamp the Main Page. I've spent the last couple of days making a draft for this and then went to seek approval to get it on here.

Now that I'm done, I'd like feedback. If you have anything to say or any suggestions on what to add or remove from the main page or how to improve it even further, please tell me here.

I have also decided to add a little changelog over here; this log will be updated by me if I update something related to this template.
