The ČZW 127 was a Czech anti-materiel rifle designed and manufactured by Czech Weapons s.r.o in prototype form only during the early 2000s.
History[]
The developmental history of the ČZW 127 is not well documented, however it is said to be designed to engage "lightly armored enemy forces".[1] It, like most other ČZW weapons, appears to be a testbed for delayed blowback technology.
Design Details[]
The ČZW 127 is a semi-automatic anti-materiel rifle using lever delayed blowback. The weapon features a folding stock that folds downwards which could act as a rudimentary monopod; the action of the weapon is said to reduce recoil so much that a compensator is not necessary and the weapon can be shot comfortably from the shoulder.[2] The weapon is chambered for 12.7×108mm, but can be converted to use .50 BMG.[1]
