The .41 Swiss (10.4x38mmR Swiss) is an intermediate bottlenecked rimfire cartridge used in the Vetterli rifle.

The round was adopted in 1867 by the Swiss military for its then standard issue rifle. It has notability of one of the few rimfire cartridges used by the military, gave controllable handling and a high capacity magazine of 12 rounds, higher than any other rifle of the time. Cartridges were made from copper with a paper patch to seal the lead bullet.

The round was sold to US civilians until after 1946.
