The ARWEN ACE is a 37mm single shot non-lethal launcher of Canadian origin. It is a variant of the ARWEN 37.

Design Details[]

The ARWEN ACE is a single shot non-lethal launcher with a double action trigger and an ambidextrous manual safety. Ammunition is loaded in the breech, and the spent casing is automatically ejected when the weapon is fired. The latter makes the reloading process less time consuming. The ACE has five rifling grooves in the barrel, allowing for accurate shooting. It also features a telescoping buttstock, so that operators of any build and height can use it. The weapon is also ambidextrous, so that it could be used by both left- and right-handed operators.

Its construction is comprised of lightweight aluminum and polymer materials, which are unaffected by damp environments. The weapon can also be field stripped in a small amount of time for thorough cleaning and maintenance.

Ammunition[]

The ACE is compatible with the same 37mm ammunition as used by the ARWEN 37.

Variations[]

  • ARWEN ACE T (Tactical) - Variant with a shortened 185mm barrel
  • ARWEN ACE P (Pistol) - Variant with a 185mm barrel, but does not have the telescoping buttstock
