The Armatix iP1 is a semi-automatic pistol with smart gun technology developed by German firm Armatix GmbH. The pistol utilizes radio-frequency identification (RFID) from a wrist watch known as the iW1 to identify the user.
The RFID safety was found to be easily bypassed.
