The Bofors CG AGR (Carl Gustaf Air-bursting Grenade Rifle) is a concept bullpup grenade launcher from Bofors Carl Gustaf (now merged into Saab Bofors Dynamics AB).[1]
History[]
According to the Swedish SSW Program presentation at the 50th Annual Joint Services Small Arms Systems Section Annual Symposium by Per G. Arvidsson at Las Vegas, 2004, the weapon was conceived in 1996. Other than that, information on the weapon is limited, and it appears no physical model was constructed.
Design details[]
It was described as a pump action, short recoil locked bolt bullpup grenade launcher, with top-mounted 5-round tubular magazine, downwards case ejection behind the pistol grip, attached with muzzle brake and side mounted sight.[1]
