The Browning carbine was a .30 Carbine calibre open bolt fired using a simple blowback operation. The receiver is a round section using a front/rear sections. The front section has the magazine insert/fire control group where the rear has the pistol grip/spring buffer. The stock came with an unusual sling installed internally.
