The Frolov pistol carbine (пистолет-карабин Фролова / Пистолет-пулемёт Фролова) was a self-loading carbine designed in 1912 by Pyotr Frolov. It was entered into the Russian Army's self-loading rifle trials prior to World War I, but was not adopted. The Frolov carbine operated on a delayed-blowback action and was chambered for the 7.62×38mmR Nagant revolver cartridge. It was made in both a fully-stocked "military" variant and a semi-stocked "sporter" variant.
