The Harris M-92 is an American bullpup anti-materiel rifle manufactured by Harris Gunworks, Inc.
Design Details[]
The M-92 is a redesign of the M-87R in a bullpup configuration in an attempt to satisfy the growing market for bullpup weapons. It retains the .50 BMG caliber and is fed from a 5-round box magazine. It is a bolt-action weapon. It also features a large, perforated muzzle brake to contend with the recoil effect of the powerful cartridge. It also has a bipod that is affixed to the area around the front end for forward support.
It has a unique, if ungainly, profile with its deep body and integrated shoulder stock/pistol grip area. The bolt handle is set at the extreme rear end, and with the action placed deep in that area, the barrel stays at full length yet protrudes only a short distance ahead of the front end.
