The Keppeler & Fritz KS is a German sniper rifle.
History[]
The KS was designed by Dieter Keppeler and Bernhard Fritz in 1984 by the German company Keppeler & Fritz, designed in cooperation with professionals who partake in tactical missions. The rifle is now in its third generation and is marketed as the KS V Bullpup Sniper by the company.
Design Details[]
The Keppeler was designed to be simple to operate and be as accurate as possible at long range at the same time. The weapon's magazine is fed from the left side of the rifle. Due to the bullpup layout of the weapon, longer barrels can be installed in the weapon while retaining a very compact profile. The weapon has an integrated monopod at the rear, and adjustable cheekrests and buttplates. The weapon's barrel is said to be a match-grade barrel.
