The LA-K12 Puma is a gas operated shotgun.
History[]
Originally designed by Kuandian Shotgun Plant, prototypes of the weapon has been sighted as early as 2006 under the K13X-12 name. The shotgun has since been imported into Canada by the help of Lever Arms as of 2015.
Design details[]
The LA-K12 is a gas-operated shotgun with a short stroke gas piston located above the barrel. The weapon is made of polymer and its ejection port is located on the right hand side, as with most bullpups; this, unfortunately, makes it unfriendly to left-handed shooting. There is what appears to be a gas regulator on the gas tube. It is supposedly made to resemble the QBZ-95's likeness due to somewhat similar appearances.
