The LAR Grizzly Big Boar is a .50 BMG sniper rifle manufactured by L.A.R. Manufacturing Inc., in West Jordan, Utah.

History Edit

The sniper rifle was designed in the 90s. Till it was a commercial failure, it was used in many movies cause of his weird and unusual design.

Design Edit

The rifle is a single-shot bullpup sniper rifle with a breech-loading design. The bolt holds the round and has to be removed when reloading.[1] The chassis is equipped with a Picatinny rail for optics.

Variants Edit

In 2011, a compact variant was displayed, called the LAR Grizzly T-50. It has a 32" - 36" barrel as well as removable aluminum rails. It is claimed by LAR Manufacturing to have a recoil similar to that of a 12 gauge shotgun.[2]
