The Metcalf Experimental Model 3, shortened to EM-3, was a British automatic rifle designed at RSAF Enfield.
Overview[]
The Metcalf EM-3 was the third design in an experimental automatic rifle project at Enfield, along with the Korsak EM-1 and the Jeziorański EM-2. The Metcalf rifle was not successful, but it did serve as the basis for Stanley Thorpe's experimental EM-1 rifle.
