The Osorio Selectiva is a .22 calibre machine pistol prototype of Nicaraguan origin.

Development

The weapon was developed by a man named Osario who wanted a .22 LR machine pistol but was unable to obtain an example rendering to develop one himself. The weapon was then imported into the United States and registered for private ownership. Only one example of this machine pistol exists.

Overview

The Osorio Selectiva is a .22 LR calibre blowback operated magazine fed machine pistol. The weapon uses a double crescent trigger group for semi/full automatic. It also comes with a grip safety as well as a conventional safety switch on the left side of the receiver. Ejection port is on the top. Rear adjustable sights and an underfolding stock is also used for accuracy. The firing pin is machined into the bolt face and is double edged striking the rim on both sides.
