The PF556 is a 5.56×45mm NATO Minigun developed by Profense LLC. The weapon is intended for short range suppressive fire Special Forces attack vehicles such as speedboats, ATVs, light aircraft, etc.

Overview[]

Derived from the PF M134, the PF556 has been designed using the same patented technology and aerospace manufacturing processes but with the additional benefits of being a lighter weight more compact system. The PF556 is equipped with a fully programmable digital GCU that incorporates full brushless motor control of the weapon and the ammunition booster. This unique feature allows for precise weapon and ammunition quantity management.

The PF556 has a completely redesigned user control system that is different from their original 7.62x51mm design. It is backwards compatible with their earlier system so users can install it on their earlier mounting brackets in the same location.
