The Ritter & Stark SX-1 MTR (Modular Tactical Rifle) is an Austrian bolt-action sniper rifle designed and manufactured by Ritter & Stark GmbH.[1]

Design Details[]

The SX-1 MTR is a modular multicaliber bolt-action sniper rifle, available in three calibers: .308 Winchester, .300 Winchester Magnum, and .338 Lapua Magnum. It has a similar design to the ORSIS T-5000; Ritter & Stark had a fully Russian design team, many of whom had previously worked on the development of the ORSIS T-5000.[1]

The SX-1 MTR features a free-floating fluted barrel manufactured with a patented process. A Picatinny rail is bolted directly to the barrel instead of to the receiver; this allows multiple barrels with pre-installed optics to be transported and mounted and become immediately usable without having to be re-zeroed.[1]

The bolt can be changed, so is compatible with the three calibers it uses. As well as many magazine adapters to change the magazine it uses, like adapters for SR-25 pattern or AICS magazine in .308 Winchester.[2]

Other features are a collapsible stock, a muzzle brake, and an AR-15 style grip.[1]
