The Steinkamp SW1 is a German rifle.

History[]

The SW1 was developed in 2008 as a two-barreled rifle.

Design Details[]

The SW1 is made of polymer, and is of a bullpup design. Cartridges are loaded from the rear through the buttstock. The weapon has a massive second trigger which causes the buttstock to open and the ejectors to fling the cartridges out. The weapon's trigger guard acts as the priming mechanism; it is designed as such so that it can be rapidly actuated when a shot presents itself. The weapon is available in various calibers, though Steinkamp says other calibers can be requested.
