The TTS Xceed is a bolt-action bullpup sniper rifle designed by Hubert Schneider and manufactured by Tec Target Schneider GmbH since 2021, mainly for the civilian market.
History[]
The Xceed is stated as being "the result of many years of experience in the development and production of sports and precision rifles"; it is also advertised as a modular sniper system with many parts which can be changed out for other attachments.[1] The weapon entered production in 2021.[2]
Design Details[]
The Xceed was designed by Hubert Schneider, a gunsmith hailing from Baden-Württemberg who specializes in the design and manufacture of precision arms, having developed many with his past companies such as Mauser, Rheinmetall and DSR-Precision.[2] The Xceed features adjustable ergonomics which can be manipulated without the use of tools, with the receiver being made out of aluminum. The rifle features a fully-adjustable trigger which is friendly to winter glove usage; a three-position safety helps block the trigger and chamber when the rifle is put on safe.[1]
The rifle also features an adjustable cheek rest as well as a bipod which can be adjusted for both length and height. The rifle's flash hider is made of titanium coated with a diamond-like carbon while the barrel is coated in stainless steel and can be changed within minutes to a different caliber.[1]
