I request that this page be deleted or moved to Beretta 92 on the grounds that the M9 is atcually the 92FS or other variants. It is just a another name. Drjuki 00:41, January 31, 2011 (UTC)

I've never fired a Beretta 92, but I did shoot 50 rounds thru a Glock 19 a while back. I was suprised at the number of stoppages I had even then. The malfunctions were cleared easily, but nonetheless I was a bit suprised. My only gun is an 1891/30 Mosin Nagant rifle, and I've fired some 150 rounds thru it without a single failure to fire or function. I think the main reason the M9 was created was to standardize ammunition with NATO, and the fact that the Beretta M9 came in at a lower per unit cost than its competitor, the Sig P226.Gbeecher 15:10, December 21, 2011 (UTC)
