Teflon-coated bullet

Teflon-coated bullets are rounds coated in polytetrafluoroethylene. The rounds were intended to reduce erosion but caused wear. Teflon-coated bullets were known as cop killer bullets as they were depicted to increase penetration of body armour vests.
