XM133 Minigun

The XM133 Minigun is a prototype 7.62x51mm NATO calibre gatling machine gun. The weapon was a self powered M134 Minigun capable of 6000rpm.

Overview[]

The XM133 is nearly identical to the M134 but has barrels with gas ports that align with the piston drive in the center of the rotating barrel cluster. The gas piston moves back and forth driving the cam on the barrel cluster firing the weapon.
